The Board of Directors along with the of the Association, names and coordinates commissions to organize and follow up on different events whose purpose is to gather funds and guarantee the functioning of the museum and its educational programs. These commissions can be temporary or permanent, among which is the Friends of MARTE Association (AMARTE), formed by a group of people committed with our institution, whose efforts are dedicated to the collection of funds. To do so annually they host two important events: GALA and SUMARTE. They also follow up on the program Future Space, a place for sculpture thanks to the sponsoring of Torre Futura and the support of Grupo TEA.

Another committee of great importance is Contemporary MARTE, which supports the programs orientated to the promotion and diffusion of the work of young and emerging national and international artists.
