Contemporary MARTE  is a program focused on new proposals and artistic languages. It aims to provide a space for Salvadoran and foreign young and emerging artists to present their work or intervene one of our spaces.

The projects in this field (exhibitions, conferences, contributions, exchanges, internships, subvention of alternative projects, etc.) are determined by the Museum’s management.

This program is sponsored by Mario Cader-Frech and backed by a committee of six volunteers, four young entrepreneurs and two artists, as well as a group of young collectors, artists and interested individuals who seek support for its implementation. They develop their work in accordance with the following objectives:

* Understand the expectations of the public regarding contemporary art.

* Submit proposals for artistic and fundraising activities and on grants to the Board of Directors of

the Art Museum Association of El Salvador.

* Support and bring to fruition additional events to the MARTE program.
